Lite 99.3 is proud to once again partner with the Meaford Hospital Foundation for our On-Air for Healthcare Radiothon, broadcasting live from our studios in the Godard’s Independent Plaza on Highway 26 in Meaford.
Last year, with the incredible support of listeners, sponsors, and community partners, we raised over $100,000 for the Meaford Hospital Foundation. It was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for an important cause.
While we are fortunate to have healthcare in Ontario, many of the tools and technologies that ensure the best care possible are funded through local hospital foundations. These organizations play a vital role in purchasing equipment that helps doctors, nurses, and medical teams provide the highest standard of care when you or your loved ones need it most.
Where Your Donations Go
Funds raised during this year’s Radiothon will help purchase essential equipment and improvements for Meaford Hospital, including:
Automatic Dispensing Units for the Pharmacology Department (approximately $500,000)
Replacement of seven hospital beds (approximately $15,000 each)
Refurbishments to the hospital lobby (approximately $100,000)
A Mobile Point of Care blood testing unit and other critical equipment
Every dollar raised directly supports the hospital’s ability to deliver safe, effective, and modern care to our community.
