Serendipity 3, a New York restaurant renowned for its extravagant offerings, has announced that it is bringing back the Quintessential Grilled Cheese, which was recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s most expensive sandwich, priced at $214. This special menu item will be available today, which is National Grilled Cheese Day. The sandwich, which requires a 48-hour advance order, is made with French pullman champagne bread crafted from Dom Perignon Champagne, and it is coated with grass-fed white truffle butter. It is filled with slices of Caciocavallo Podolico cheese, toasted until golden, and its edges are brushed with 23-karat edible gold.
