Sylvester Stallone on Adele buying his mansion and keeping “Rocky” statue

Adele not only has the iconic Rocky statue near the pool at her recently purchased mansion from Sylvester Stallone, but it turns out the statue was actually a deciding factor in acquiring the house. In an interview with WSJ. Magazine for their “My Monday Morning” series, Stallone shared his thoughts on selling the property situated in Beverly Park, Los Angeles, on a 3.6-acre lot with breathtaking views. When asked why he didn’t take the statue of his character, Rocky Balboa, with him during the move, Stallone responded, “I did!” However, Adele insisted on keeping the statue, stating that it was a dealbreaker. Stallone recounted, “But she said, ‘That’s a no deal. That’s gonna blow the whole deal.’ She wanted the statue.” Last year, Adele purchased the home for $58 million.
