The dollar hovering just over 73 cents, 73.05 cents U.S. I'm Stacey Englehart. Owen Sound police appealing to witnesses after a pedestrian was fatally struck this week. Police say it happened Tuesday at about 8. A pedestrian was at the intersection of 10th and 16th when they were hit. Police would only say a female died of her injuries. The driver of the truck remained at the scene. Thinking about getting away from the winter cold? Dozens of Canadians are coming back ill after heading to a Mexican resort for sun and sand. According to reports, some travelers to a resort in Cancun reported feeling sick. Many said lots of other families at the resort were also sick. According to one traveler, their family's diagnosis upon returning, norovirus, described as foodborne parasites. According to recent Google reviews of the resort, others have also become ill. And organizers have confirmed Joni Mitchell is set to attend the Juno's in Hamilton to accept a lifetime achievement award. The 82-year-old Canadian icon coming off her 11th Grammy win after taking home Best Historical Album. The 55th Annual Juno's take place March 29th at TV Coliseum. Light 99-3 Sports, the Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League, Meaford Knights lost to West Nipissing 4-2. Both teams back in action for two final games tonight and Sunday in Sturgeon Falls. In the OHL yesterday, Owen Sound lost to Barry in overtime. Tonight, Barry is in London at 7. Day 14 at the Olympics as the games wrap up this weekend. Canada's medal count is at 15. Canada's women's hockey team wins silver after losing in overtime to the US 2-1. Canada's men's curling team will go for gold. The team secured a berth in the finals after an extra end win over Norway. Canada will face Great Britain in the gold medal game tomorrow. Canada's women's team playoff bound after beating South Korea. Canada plays Sweden in the semi-final this morning at 8.
