Environment Canada said temperatures stretching from Windsor to Ottawa will feel close to 40, and that includes Brantford, Waterloo Region, and Hamilton. You're being asked to watch for signs of possible heat stroke. Well, close to 50,000 people in southern Ontario still have no power. 10s of thousands without the lights or AC when severe thunderstorms brought down trees and knocked down power lines. Environment Canada is now stretching heat warnings into New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and PEI. A person who may have been cycling on Powerline Road just over the Branford-Ancaster border was found dead late Tuesday. Police were called to Powerline in Bethel Church Road. They are appealing to witnesses. A seven-year-old boy has been found dead after he went missing at a Hamilton Conservation Area on Canada Day. Police said he was last seen near a floating inflatable playground at the Benbrook Conservation Area. Ten people had to be rescued at the Guelph Lake Conservation Area because of the severe storm. First responders said they found a person clinging to a kayak, another stranded in the water. Eight more needed help to get back to the main dock. Nobody was seriously injured. Officials are urging people to properly wear your life jacket and turn back if severe weather approaches. Light 92 sports in the CFL, the Argos lost to Calgary 58-36.
