Snow or ice pellets could amount to upwards of 5 centimeters with a risk of freezing rain. Owen Sound, Blue Mountains, Northern Grey County affected. Just be careful on the drive this morning. The province's SIU has invoked its mandate after an arrest in Meaford. On Wednesday, just before 11 in the evening, members of the Grey Bruce Detachment of the OPP were called to a disturbance at a home in Meaford. They say one person fled the scene and was chased and gripped by a police dog. The suspect was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Thousands of ovens being recalled in Canada following reports of injuries. The issue is with certain Frigidaire ranges increasing the risk of burns. Now, a recall notice was posted yesterday. The company said the affected gas ranges were sold between June of last year and January of this year and can experience a delayed ignition of the oven's bake burner. Now, owners of Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery and the professional models are told to stop using them immediately although the company said the cooktop burners can still be used. Well, as gas prices keep rising due to the ongoing war attacking oil fields and refineries in the Middle East, gas prices are expected to jump even further over the weekend. Might be time to invest in a horse and buggy. Analysts say gas prices could hit $2 a liter by the summer. and it's being called a global movement to bring harmony into the world and it's picking up steam on social media. The great synchronization is happening tomorrow. Organizers are hoping 1% of the population will do the same thing for 5 minutes to manifest kindness.
