Environment Canada with an orange blizzard warning for many areas, including Owen Sound, Blue Mountains, Northern Grey County. We could get pummeled with between 20 and 40 centimeters of snow. Blizzard conditions near 0 visibility. We've got really strong winds, upwards of 80 kilometers, and cold wind chills bottoming out below minus 25. You're being warned to avoid travel and outdoor activities. An OPP constable facing criminal charges, accused of being drunk while on duty. Police said their southern Georgian Bay detachment officers launched an impaired operation on January 15th, Police said the investigation involved one of their officers at the detachment who'd been with them for 17 years. The 39-year-old constable was arrested and charged. 49-year-old facing charges after an arrest warrant led to the seizure of a large amount of drugs in Collingwood. Police said the man initially resisted arrest but was eventually taken into custody. A search discovered 130 grams of suspected fentanyl. And Spanish police confirm at least 39 people have died, more than 150 injured, in a high-speed train collision in the south end of the country. The crash happened last night when a train derailed and hit an oncoming train. Authorities are still recovering bodies from hundreds of meters from the crash site.
