Well, tomorrow is Good Friday, a stat holiday. Keep in mind, most businesses will be closed tomorrow and Easter Sunday for the Easter long weekend, with government offices closing tomorrow, Good Friday and also Easter Monday. The Saugeen Conservation Authority has issued a water safety statement. Public is encouraged to be careful around local waterways. Police in Owen Sound have arrested a 24-year-old who's now facing weapons and drug charges. Police said the man was taken into custody for an unrelated matter, but he was found to be in possession of a large quantity of cocaine, methamphetamines, an electronic scale packaging materials, brass knuckles, and a fake gun. As we've seen gas prices jump over the past month, almost 50 cents. The Conservative Party of Canada's asking Ottawa to drop the federal tax on gas and diesel for the rest of the year. Tories say their plan would save Canadians 25 cents a litre. To pay for it, they suggest cutting the Liberals' wasteful spending on the, quote, gun buyback, bureaucracy, consultants and foreign aid. Canada's gun buyback program is seeing mixed participation as new numbers show how many weapons have been declared. Public Safety Canada said more than 67,000 banned firearms have been reported since the program opened mid-January. Officials have set aside $250 million in compensation as part of efforts to remove prohibited weapons. And the crew of the Artemis 2 moon mission racing around the earth this morning at nearly 3,700 kilometers an hour as they prepare for their first full day in space. London astronaut Jeremy Hansen is serving his mission on the 10-day adventure. At some point, they're going to move the capsule out of orbit and put it on a path to loop around the moon before returning back home. Light 99-3 sports. Baseball yesterday, the Jays lost to Colorado 2-1 in 10 innings. They start up a weekend Rd. series against the White Sox tomorrow at 2. Now the game was set for today but was postponed because Chicago's expecting heavy rain and thunderstorms. NBA yesterday, the Raptors lost to Sacramento 1-23-1-15. They're in Memphis tomorrow at 8. NHL last night, only three games played. Vancouver beat Colorado 8-6. The Leafs have a late game in San Jose tonight at 10. PWHL, Toronto beat Ottawa 2-1. OHL playoffs, Owen Sound is out after losing to Flint 6-1. Flint wins the series 4-0. Tonight, Barry is in Niagara at 7. Barry has a 2-1 series lead.
