The dollar 70.78 cents U.S. I'm Stacey Englehart. A four-day commercial vehicle enforcement blitz in Gray Bruce yielded shocking results. Gray Bruce OPP partnered with Owen Sound Police, Sauging Shores Police, Hanover Police, and West Gray Police, along with the MTO. From June 1st through 5th, out of 95 commercial vehicles inspected, almost half were in such bad shape they had to be taken off the road. 41 to be exact, with 81 charges laid for various violations. Police in Hanover have charged a man accused of rummaging through vehicles. Police called to a senior's residence after vehicles were reportedly broken into and items were stolen. A 31-year-old Hanover man has been charged with theft and resisting arrest. Police say he was on bail conditions for several other property crimes. Police remind you to lock your cars and keep valuables out of sight. Ontario's real estate brokerages will now be required to submit annual financial filings to the province's industry regulator as part of a plan to strengthen financial oversight. The move is in response to the iPro Realty scandal after regulators say they took about $8 million from trust accounts to pay operating expenses and investors when all the money should have been used for down payments and realtor commissions. The filings will begin October 1st. And an initial agreement to end the war between the U.S. and Iran calls for Tehran to dilute its stockpile of enriched uranium. The Marlies have a 3-0 lead. And the Maple Leafs have named Jame Hiller as their new head coach. He was previously head coach of the LA Kings over part of three seasons, but was fired in March.
