Well, there's a rainfall warning in effect this morning. According to Environment Canada, another round of heavy rain could affect the region again tomorrow. Water will likely be pooling on roads and in low-lying areas. Just be careful on the drive. Grace Able Conservation Authority, meanwhile, advising residents to stay cautious as elevated water levels could pose a problem. The current statement remains in effect till Friday. The Prime Minister got the majority he was hoping for. Liberal candidates won by-elections in both Toronto ridings and in Quebec. Canada hasn't had a majority since former PM Trudeau swept to power in 2015, but that government was downsized to a minority in 2019. The Ontario government moving to scale back the role of school board trustees. A new bill tabled at Queen's Park would cut trustee numbers, limit spending, and reduce their role in bargaining, saying their aim is to boost accountability and stabilize governance. And the Public Health Agency of Canada is investigating the salmonella outbreak linked to pistachios. a year after the first recorded infection. It said 26 people have been hospitalized. The number of illnesses since March of last year has grown to 189. Illnesses have been reported as recently as last month. Light 99-3 Sports NHL last night. The Leafs play their final home game of the season and lost to Dallas 6-5. Their last game of the season is tomorrow in Ottawa 730. The 16 teams in the Stanley Cup playoffs are set.
