While it is cold outside, we're not under any official warning, but there are cold warnings in effect for Bruce Peninsula, Sauble Beach, Tobermory, as well as Midland, Coldwater and Ore Lake. Environment Canada says we're expecting a bit of a roller coaster in turn. in terms of the forecast with more snow again tonight. We got a bit last night and it is a bit slippery, so drive carefully. JD will have the forecast throughout the morning. Canadians in Puerto Vallarta say the resort city is quiet after cartel violence set vehicles on fire and filled the sky with smoke. Tourists described seeing armed police burnt out vehicles in empty streets. Officials have ordered people to stay inside. Air Canada, Porter, WestJet and Air Transat have resumed flights after violence killed the notorious cartel leader as Premier Ford is urging Ontarians not to go to Mexico, telling reporters he does not consider Mexico a stable country right now. Thousands of U.S. and Canadian flights were canceled or delayed on the East Coast as a storm dumped upwards of 60 centimeters of snow in some areas and upended routines in New York City, Boston, and Philly. Travelers, meanwhile, with Global Entry memberships like Nexus are facing longer wait times boarding flights to the U.S. because the Department of Homeland Security suspended the program. Canadian Food Inspection Agency said a baby formula sold at Costco and online being recalled because it could contain a toxin. Kendamil brand Infant Formula may have a toxin that causes food poisoning, nausea and vomiting. Nestle and Danone recently issued a formula recall for the exact same toxin. And on the coldest night of the year, Straw Hat Renovations and Pilkington Trust and Building Supply will introduce a response to the region's most pressing issues, winter homelessness. An insulated wooden hut designed as a better than a tent emergency shelter will be available at Owen Sound City Hall this Saturday, coinciding with coldest night of the year events.
