The dollar hovering around 72 cents. I'm Stacey Englehart. A serious collision closed a portion of Highway 21 last night. According to reports, police, paramedics and firefighters were called to a serious collision between Bruce Road 40 and Concession 2. We don't have any other details. Well, in six months, you'll be making 35 cents more an hour. Ontario's minimum wage set to increase to $17.95 on October 1st, but according to the Ontario Living Wage Network, a living wage in the GTA should be $27.20. Canada's public health agency taking over a vaccine injury compensation program and reviewing previously rejected claims. It covers rare but serious injuries tied to vaccines after December 2020, including the covid shot. Officials say they will address backlogs and improve transparency. Now, according to Google, government use of ridicule, shame, and mockery to enforce rules dates back to the Roman times where public reputation was a tool or social control. Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Italy in penalties to book its ticket to the big stage. Four-time champion Italy failed to qualify for their third straight World Cup. baseball yesterday. The Jays beat Colorado 5-1. That home series wraps up with a game at 1 this afternoon. NBA action last night. The Raptors lost to Detroit 127-116. They host Sacramento tonight at 8. Full slate of NHL games last night. Among them, Montreal beat Tampa Bay. Ottawa lost to Florida. Edmonton beat Seattle. Winnipeg beat Chicago in OT. Leafs have a late game in San Jose tomorrow at 10. OHL playoffs. Barry beat Niagara 5-2 to take a 2-1 series lead. Tonight, Owen Sound hosts Flint at 7. Flint has a 3-0 series lead. And PWHL tonight, Toronto plays Ottawa in Calgary at 9.30.
