Residents in South Bruce Peninsula being asked to remain vigilant after a heady police presence early yesterday. Now, Gray Bruce OPP said they were investigating a break and enter in Howdenvale. Police said there's no ongoing threat to the public, but if you saw anything suspicious, you're being asked to contact OPP. Police in Barrie say a man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after a workplace injury. According to the Orange Air Ambulance Service, the man was airlifted to a Toronto hospital with critical injuries after an industrial accident. The labor minister was notified 2 inspectors were on scene yesterday. Parts of the province remained under flood warnings, according to a government flood map. As of yesterday afternoon, notifications from the flood forecasting and warning program covered most regions between Toronto through Greater Sudbury, as well as Sault Ste. Marie and Ottawa. Rainy conditions have also led to flood warnings in Quebec, Manitoba, and New Brunswick. And soccer fans who've missed out on tickets for the 2026 World Cup will get another chance today. FIFA said new ticket inventory for all 104 matches will be released at 11 this morning as part of a last minute sales phase. It said more tickets will continue to be released periodically till the end of the tournament, which runs June 11th through July 19th across Canada, the US and Mexico. Late 99-3 sports.
