It's Wednesday, March 4th. Good morning. Happy hump day. Sunshine and five this afternoon. The dollar still hovering around 73 cents. I'm Stacey Englehart. While gas prices jumped 6 cents, the increase being blamed on the US and Israel attacking Iran. We're also being told another fallout could be cyber attacks. Canada's digital intelligence agency is warning that Iranian reprisals will very likely be due to what they perceive as Canada's public support of the military activity. As explosions were heard throughout the night in Iran's capital and also Jerusalem, the Prime Minister said his support for the U.S. military strikes comes with regret. He said it appears the attacks broke international law, adding no advance notice or engagement was given to Canada, allies or the United Nations. By the way, the U.S. government said they're going to be bombing Iran for about another month. OPP and South Bruce have charged two people with impaired. Police say both are because concerned citizens called them. Police said the first incident happened last Wednesday. Police called to a business on Highway 9 in Mild May. The driver was later found after crashing into a snowbank and ditching his car. The following morning, police called about an impaired driver and Teeswater, both set to appear before a judge April 8th. And don't forget this weekend, the Inter-Township Fire Department and Grey Bruce OPP's charity hockey game and polar plunge is taking place on Saturday from 1 to 3 in Shallow Lake. Festivities are being held at 550 Princess Street. This year features an exciting rematch between Grey Bruce OPP and the Inter-Township Fire Department. Light 99-3 Sports. NHL last night. Montreal lost to the Sharks 7-5. Elsewhere, Winnipeg beat Chicago in overtime. Ottawa lost to Edmonton and OT. And Calgary lost to Dallas. Leafs are in New Jersey tonight at 7. PWHL. Toronto lost to Montreal 4-3 in a shootout. The Raptors lost to the Knicks 1-11-95. They'll be in Minnesota tomorrow at 8. and baseball preseason. The Blue Jays beat Team Canada 10-7. The Jays are off today. They play Atlanta tomorrow. And in the OHL tonight, Barry hosts Brantford at 7. JD will keep you posted on the forecast throughout the morning.
