Join us on November 15th at Meaford Hall Arts and Cultural Centre for an evening of Gordon Lightfoot classics!
This special performance will pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Edmund Fitzgerald, the Great Lakes freighter that tragically sank on November 10th, 1975, claiming the lives of all 29 crew members. The storm that night produced 35-foot waves and 60 mph winds, overwhelming the ship and leaving no survivors.
Moved by the story, Gordon Lightfoot went on to write "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" - a deeply emotional ballad that remains a defining part of his legacy.
Join us as we honour the memory of the crew and the legacy of Lightfoot's timeless tribute.
